1982 BMW R80 Street Tracker
‘El Toro’ Commissioned by Alex; a Spaniard who works in the aerospace industry based in Manchester during the summer and Valencia during the winter months and that’s where El a Toro is heading for in time for Christmas!
When Alex paid us a visit in Devon he knew exactly what he wanted; several strange requests; Jota bars on a street tracker with twin megaphone silencers, Led hidden rear lights and indicators, distressed leather diamond stitched seating for two, Small bates headlamp, and definitely a silver tank, that was until he stepped outside and saw my trusty rusty smart car “That’s what I want” he said pointing at it, good job we had some rust effect paint left over then!
The name El Toro means The Bull in Spanish of course, very appropriate for a guy that’s Spanish through and through even though he has a Spanish/Manchester accent! About as Spanish as straw donkeys and sombrero hats?!
So I think we pulled it off with graphite powder coated frame and fork sliders, blacked out spoke wheels, two into one low level exhaust with twin raw steel megaphones that will in time end up the same colour as the tank, we even added a posing pouch that fits neatly between the tank and seat for Alex’s aviators or change for an ice cream?
