1982 BMW R80
Kevils Speed Shop’s Latest Cafe Racer; Firenze named after the luxurious red pearl colour that covers the tank and tail taken from the latest Land Rover colour chart. After building a selection of black and silver bikes recently we decided to add a splash of red to the mix. Firenze takes its name from the historical italian city Florence, Capital of Tuscany.
This bike has been built in down time whilst waiting for fabrication to build our customers commissioned machines and was to be offered for sale but before it was completed it was sold to a client in Lebanon, a strange location to ship a super cool cafe racer I hear you say? Well it was a beautiful cosmopolitan country before the troubles and still retains its very French influenced Cafe culture.
We wanted to create a bike that covers both bases so we blended Cafe Racer cool with street Scrambler usability fitting our own seat and subframe arrangement upholstered in black leather and stainless high level exhaust. Then we added the usual snow flake alloys fitted with avon Distanzia tyres for a semi off road look, up turned drag bars and a halo headlight. We even pushed the boat out by fitting the awesome ‘German motogadget moto scope pro speedo’ that just about does every thing apart from Comb your hair, obviously this was a ground up rebuild with tons of attention to detail replacing and upgrading every component in the process as in all Kevils Speed Shop BMW’s.

We are currently in the process of assembling a BMW Frozen Blue version which will be FOR SALE in the near future!
