1981 BMW R100
Our latest build is this Powerful 1000cc Street scrambler commissioned by Kris a restaurant owner based on the Belgium Coast,
Kris and his wife came to visit my shop on a rainy day in February this year to discuss commissioning a Kevils BMW, Kris wanted to theme his bike on a Riva speed boat like the ones you see on lake Garda in Italy , the type with the highly polished rich brown wood and the brightly coloured turquoise anti foul and chrome fittings, it may sound pretty impossible to make a bike look like a boat but I think we pulled it off!
This is the first of Kevils bikes to have all the cast alloy components specialist vapour blasted, to match the bright silver powder coated framework, the balance of colours and textures work really well.
The seat and subframe and integrated luggage rack are pretty high as Kris is quite a tall guy and along with the high front and rear mudguard higher braced bars the lines flow very well truly making this bike a bespoke build.
This bike has a good balance of chrome as well; tail light, headlight grille and rim, Hagon chrome shock springs and polished alloy headlight brackets. The wheel’s rear calliper , rear calliper assembly , side panels, mudguards are all powder coated in black satin making them really blend in! As for the green/turquoise colour scheme, this was sourced from Ruby Helmets, its actual name is “almond Green”.
This nut and bolt ground up high spec bike was built to a very high standard replacing every thing for new as well as being lavished with kevils custom parts such as our signature high level brushed stainless exhaust system, top yoke plate , front mudguard stays.
