The Story
Based on a 1977 BMW R100/7 24k mile 1000cc Imported from the USA the concept was to create a Brat style Beach cruiser style Motorcyle.This Tax & MOT Exempt freshly built BMW is an absolute one off with original 1970’s rare Lester Polished rim alloy wheels, coupled up to modern suspension and braking from its retro fitted USD sports bike front end and using correct custom CNC made billet triple trees made by cognito moto in NY keeping the original offset which improves ride ability. The custom fabricated brat style seat and subframe Upholstered in oxblood leather can comfortably carry the rider and a smaller person on the back, tank is high gloss pure greyFor reliability and performance a pair of Mikuni flat side carbs have been fitted, imported from Japan, we’ve left the original finish to the mechanicals showing the authentic patina, although they have all been completely factory reconditioned. Electricals have been replaced & upgraded, modern electronic ignition, up-rated alternator & starter, rewired using a motogadget M-unit which controls the discreet LED lighting and motone switches fitted to the comfortable alloy beach cruiser handlebars
